Bio

Diana Pihlaja manages the day to day activities of NJPA from a financial aspect. This includes managing the daily cash flow, setting up accounting controls and procedures and reporting financial information to the Board of Directors. Diana enjoys being part of the NJPA management team that helps shape the future of the organization. She also enjoys the challenges and opportunities of working for an organization that is progressive and innovative.

Diana graduated from Bemidji State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She has been in the accounting field for 20 years and has worked for large corporations such as Schwan’s Ice Cream, Lamb-Weston/ RDO and Wausau Paper. During her past employment she gained valuable experience in every aspect of accounting doing everything from Inventory to Cost Accounting. This experience has been pivotal to her success at NJPA.

Outside of NJPA, Diana enjoys spending time with her three children attending their sporting activities and is active in her community.
