Bio

Jeremy Schwartz joined NJPA in 2012 as a Contract Manager. He has a Six Sigma Black Belt certification through the American Society for Quality and holds a Green Manufacturing Specialist certificate through the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.

Jeremy’s prior professional experiences include over eight years of design, manufacturing, management and process improvement in the off-road vehicle industry, store management and sales for a leading fastener/industrial supply distributor and nearly five years in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system as a Manufacturing/Process Improvement Specialist. His experiences in contract generation, customer relationship management, project management, sales and training have allowed Jeremy to develop an eye for maximizing value-add to both Members and Vendors of NJPA.

As a Contract Manager, Jeremy plans and facilitates training for his vendor contracts to ensure they achieve contract success. He recommends communication methods, program benefits and sales strategies that add value to awarded Vendors and NJPA Members. He also works with new contract solicitations, business development, and managing conference exhibiting to ensure maximum exposure of awarded vendors to potential and current NJPA members.

Another area vital to the success of NJPA is the development and implementation of an aggressive marketing strategy to promote each contract. Jeremy maintains a close relationship with all of his contracts, ensuring the marketing plan is followed. He also supports Member/Vendor interaction by promoting appropriate NJPA Vendors to meet Member defined needs.

In 1998, Jeremy earned a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology from Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minnesota. Jeremy and his family reside in Verndale, MN. Jeremy is active in his church and community, and enjoys spending time with his family, working with youth, hunting, fishing, amateur baseball, hockey and basketball.
