Matthew Peterson brings a deep understanding of how to coordinate and manage the operations of a business to ensure growth and success. Owning a Small Residential Contracting Firm for the last decade has strengthened his knowledge in all aspects of business management. This experience has given Matthew the qualifications, work ethic and confidence needed to perform all duties required to be a Contract Manager for National Joint Powers Alliance.

As Contract Manager, Matt plans sales training for his vendor contracts to ensure sales growth and achieve contract success. He recommends communication methods, program benefits and sales strategies that add value to awarded vendors and NJPA members. He also manages conference exhibiting, ensuring maximum exposure of awarded vendors to potential and current NJPA members.

Another area vital to the success of NJPA is the development and implementation of an aggressive marketing strategy to promote each contract. Matt maintains a close relationship with all of his contracts ensuring the marketing plan is followed. He also supports member/vendor interaction by promoting all NJPA Vendors, yet ensuring membership satisfaction.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas with an emphasis in Marketing. He currently resides in Nisswa, MN with his wife Nancy and their three children. Living in the vast wilderness of Northern MN allows Matt the opportunity to truly enjoy “The Great Outdoors,” one of his true passions in life.
