Bio

Todd Lyscio serves as NJPA's Executive Director.

Todd has extensive background in public education with a career that spans 26 years. He has been a classroom teacher, counselor, assistant principal, high school principal, activities director and most recently, the Director of Community Education for the Brainerd, Minnesota public schools.

Todd has a BA in Education from Hamline University, a Masters’ degree in Counseling Psychology from St. Cloud State University, a certification in Administration from the University of Minnesota and his Superintendent Licensure also from St. Cloud State.

Todd has strong interest in providing support to local and regional school districts, primarily seeking to develop partnerships and collaborations to better meet the ever-changing and increasing demands on our public education institutions.

With his recent experience as a Community Educator, Todd recognizes the importance of bringing various entities together to share resources as a means of providing efficient, streamlined services to those we serve. This same model can be viewed as a template for working with school districts and other entities within the Region 5 area of Minnesota and beyond.

Looking to the future, Todd sees tremendous potential in the role Educational Service Agencies such as NJPA can play to the benefit of school districts and other government entities we serve as well as collaboration opportunities with other agencies.

Todd resides in Baxter, MN with his wife and two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, skiing and music.
