NJPA has formed contracts with many consultants to provide discounted access to their services. 

David Drown Associates (DDA): DDA is a consulting firm providing rural Minnesota government with straightforward, common sense financial help. DDA can provide Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and economic development assistance, executive search services, interim staffing assistance, compensation plans, capital planning, municipal bond issuance, bond ratings anddisclosures, and additional services upon request. NJPA will provide 50 percent off David Drown Associates’ services, up to $7,500. MN Rural Water Association (MRWA): MRWA is a nonprofit association available to help provide professional, on-site, technical assistance and training to water-wastewater operators. They can help train in managerial, financial, and operational maintenance of systems. They can also offer rate studies and clerks training to rural municipal communities. NJPA will cover 100 percent of the costs of any service, up to $1,500, and can also cover any costs associated with a one-day clerks training. Region Five Development Commission (R5DC):  R5DC is a state regional development commission serving Region 5It works to enhance the vitality and quality of life in Region 5. RDC's provide a variety of technical assistance services to the local units of government based on the individual needs of their region. One of the many valued services that R5DC provides to Region 5 is grant writing. In partnership with R5DC, NJPA will cover 100 percent of the costs of R5DC's grant writing services for any city, county, or school in Region 5, as funding permits. AEM Financial Solutions: AEM provides accounting, financial, and process evaluation services to local governments. It works to deliver one-of-a-kind solutions for improving best practices in your entire organization. AEM can provide process evaluations, work flow implementation, RFP development, strategic planning, capital improvement planning, budget development, and financial director assistance. In partnership with AEM, NJPA will cover 50 percent of the costs associated with any of AEM's services.
